Yesterday, 21 October 2008 my Aunt Zainab bt Salleh/Mak Nab, younger sister to my Ayah/father pass away at the age of 78. Manage to ziarah Mak Nab last Raya Aidilfitri at her home in Ipoh. She was then awake and aware. Buried at Tanah Perkuburan Jalan Kuala Kangsar next to her husband, Wak Aji who pass away 16 years ago. Ayah didn’t manage to attend the funeral as he was not feeling to good lately. Alhamdulillah Thanks to Almighty Allah for giving my parents the health and are still around and able to share their love with us, children, grand children and great grand children. Pray for their health always. AMIN
AL FATIHAH FOR MAK NAB... MY FATHER'S YOUNGER SISTER Post-Burial
Directly after the funeral ceremony has taken place, Muslims believe that two angels come down from heaven to interrogate the deceased. They question the dead to see if they have lived a good life, as well as see how much the deceased knows about God and the Prophet. Because of this, those who are present at the moment pray to help the deceased in their interrogations.
After someone's death, it is customary to only remember the deceased in a positive light, and to say only good things about the person. Muslims believe that the dead can hear the words of the living, so when visitors come to the grave, it is proper to greet the deceased. They also pray for the deceased and for the forgiveness of their sins.

When one dies, everything in this earthly life is left behind, and there are no more opportunities to perform acts of righteousness and faith. The Prophet Muhammad once said that there are three things, however, which may continue to benefit a person after death: charity given during life which continues to help others, knowledge from which people continue to benefit, and a righteous child who prays for him or her.
